Age requirement
Jome is intended for adults seeking genuine friendships through shared interests and local activities.
Users must meet Jome's minimum age requirement to create an account. Anyone found to be under the minimum age, or misrepresenting their age, may have their account removed.
Zero-tolerance policy
Jome strictly prohibits:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Grooming or attempted grooming of minors
- Sexual exploitation of children
- Soliciting or sharing inappropriate images involving minors
- Any behaviour that endangers or exploits children
Any account engaging in this behaviour will be permanently removed.
Reporting child safety concerns
Users can report accounts, messages, activities, or behaviour that may violate these standards directly within the app using Jome's reporting tools.
Reports relating to child safety receive priority review.
Enforcement
Where appropriate, Jome may:
- Remove offending content
- Suspend or permanently ban accounts
- Preserve relevant information where legally required
- Cooperate with law enforcement and relevant child protection authorities in accordance with applicable laws
Community safety
Jome encourages respectful interactions and provides users with tools including:

- Block users
- Community Guidelines
- Account moderation
These tools help maintain a safe environment for everyone.
